2017 Bayliner VR5 Bowrider powered by a 4.5L V6 200hp MPI Mercruiser inboard engine with an Alpha One sterndrive leg and only 38 hours of FRESHWATER use.
In the hearts and minds of many boaters, there is no boat style more iconic than the family bowrider. It’s trailerable, sporty, and versatile enough to handle tow sports or a jaunt around the local lake. One drawback, however, is that the style known as the bowrider isn’t always so accommodating in the bow.
This new Bayliner VR5 model aims to remedy that with its BeamForward design which carries the 8′ width right up through the bow’s seating arrangement. In addition, Bayliner moved the swim platform farther aft to free up additional space in the main cockpit area, a process the builder calls AftAdvantage. The result is that this 20′ bowrider now has room up front for people to stretch out, and that combined with the high-freeboard design makes this a small family boat with the space and security you’d want out on the water.
This 20′ VR5 was purchased new in late 2017, and has been barely used, in fact just garaged for most of it’s short life, and it is still ‘almost new’ only showing 38 hours of freshwater use. It features the upgraded deluxe interior package of ‘Desert Sand’upholstery with ‘Teak-mat’cockpit & swim platform flooring, an extended swim platform and Xtreme collapsible waketower.
